New buses fail to hit the mark with the disabled

Disabled people claim half the new buses in Bangkok won't suit them!

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the handicapped, and their voices should be heard.

I agree. These buses should be re-designed, and should be suitable for everybody, whether they are disabled, sick, elderly or pregnant.

The most important issue is that all buses must be air-conditioned, or is that asking too much given today’s traffic situation?

To equip half the buses with elevators is ludicrous. Who is the brilliant brain behind this idea?

May I suggest that a new design prototype is drawn up and agreed by all parties. The process should involve the participation of the elusive Khun SoithipTrisuddhi, deputy permanent secretary for transport.

This saga has been going on for too long.

With fondest regards to all the people in dire need.
