Mired in deja vu on Ratanathibet
Can someone please explain why Ratanathibet Road is being torn up yet again?
I thought we poor commuters had seen the light at the end of the tunnel when, last month, three lanes on either side of the almost-completed Purple Line were open to traffic. Now the inner lane on each side is being dug up again, with barriers set up along most of its length between Khae Rai and Phra Nong Klao bridges, causing traffic to move at a snail's pace from 5.30am to 8.30pm. Is this due to poor planning, lack of coordination among the agencies involved, or just general mismanagement?
