Make deadbeat fathers pay

Yes, there's a gaping hole in Thailand's cloak of decency - when its leaders can't enact any legislation that compels deadbeat dads to take some responsibility for children they sire (usually via date-rape), and wind up abandoning. I've spoken with dozens of single mums in Thailand who have essentially the same story: the inseminator runs off, with zero ensuing support.
It's a pattern that is prevalent worldwide, but within Thailand, it's swept under the rug.
