Let the Constitutional Court do its job
Re: "Compromise the law, destroy democracy", Letters, March 18.
I could not agree more with the points made by JC Wilcox. Actions that compromise the law inevitably lead to the degradation and, finally, destruction of the principles on which democracy rests. I would ask Election Commission member Somchai Srisuthiyakorn to please allow time for the law, the court and the judges to do their job. Competing political viewpoints have no place in this court case. If there has been wrongdoing, then it should be punished, otherwise the pillar on which our democracy stands - the law - will collapse and with it our system of governance.
