Junta is the monster in Pravit's head

Re: "Junta leaders deploying both soft and hard power", Burning Issue, July 30, 2014

There's no doubt that reporter Pravit is against the coup, to the point that sometimes he creates the NCPO monster in his own mind, ready to kill anyone who doesn't agree with it.

Instead of giving credit to the junta for "the fact that virtually none were physically tortured", Pravit chose to respond to the monster by suggesting that the junta was just pretending to be nice.

While he seems to believe that "coup-supporters are so hateful towards Thaksin and Yingluck Shinwatra that they are willing to put up with anything", perhaps he too has lost it to the monster in his head and would write just about anything to keep it alive.

In Thailand sometimes it's difficult to be constructive because it'd be too convenient to become so cynical.
