Give voters a chance to reject the candidates too

Re: "Registration cancelled in 7 South provinces", yesterday

It is little wonder that candidate registration in the South was cancelled as there is no party the voters would wish to vote for.

The Election Commission should add "None of the above" to the ballot paper. Of course, that would result in a void election and a waste of Bt3.8 billion. But not doing so will also result in justifying the red-shirt "our lost democracy" mantra that was used in the "Get My Money Back" protests in 2010.
