Food for thought

Re: "Concerned for Pravit and his fellow detainees", Letters, May 28.

I would like to back up Constance Beasley's expression of concern for Pravit Rojanaphruk and other detainees. Apart from food for the body, one imagines a certain amount of food for the mind might also be on offer at army guest houses. Being an intelligent man, Pravit will learn quickly and pass out with flying colours.

After that, may I suggest that Pravit be posted to NotTheNation, not The Nation, for a while. That way, he will be a non-journalist writing for a non-existent newspaper, and bona fide Nation readers will be protected from any dangerously subversive thoughts that could not be completely eradicated.
