Eric: Stop the hateful biased notes, please
Eric Bahrt complains that he is laughed at for writing letters to the newspaper simply asking people to stop being so cruel to humans and animals (January 27). Well, I have read most of his letters and I have never read any that had him simply asking the above. His letters are usually insulting and hateful against anyone who disagrees with his views and so-called facts, that is, against people who are not vegetarians or vegans, meaning meat eaters.
In the last few months he has called those of us, the majority of mankind, who are meat eaters, stupid, gluttons and parasites. I don't laugh at Eric. I simply criticise him for his hateful letters and counter his false studies and statements that try to scare us into believing that eating meat is bad for us, which it isn't.
Eric also states that 99 per cent of people don't give a hoot about integrity and character. Again, misinformed facts. And how can he put himself in the so-called 1 percentile of good people when he distorts facts to fit his own agendas and is rude and hateful in his letters to those who disagree with him?
So Eric stop crying crocodile tears and look in the mirror. You write hateful and sometimes vindictive and misinformed letters and that's why most people don't like you or your letters. And because of that you are not doing your animals rights cause any good whatsoever.
