The art auction season is in high gear in New York and London and Asia is becoming a hotbed of contemporary art.

How can you possibly take it all in? Check with Airbnb.

The travel bookings website has compiled a list of arty destinations – from Beijing and Melbourne to Jakarta, Mumbai and Auckland – and matched it with its own database of convenient accommodations in each city.

Bangkok is one the world’s most interesting design hubs, bursting with culture as the thirst for modernity forms a symbiotic relationship with age-old traditions.
