Vietjet has announced a new international route from Hanoi to Yangon (Myanmar) with tickets priced from only Bt300.

The new route takes off on August 31 and is designed to meet the increasing travel demands of individuals, tourists and business users travelling between Vietnam’s capital city and the main Burmese business and tourism hub. For travellers in Thailand, the new route adds a further onwards connectivity option.

The Hanoi–Yangon route will be operated on a daily basis with a flight time of 1 hour 55 minutes. The Hanoi–Yangon flight departs at 12.05pm and arrives at 1.30pm (local time). The return flight takes off from Yangon at 2.30pm and arrives in Hanoi at 4.55pm (local time). Tickets can be booked during the golden hours from noon to 2pm at www.Vietjetair.com (also compatible with smartphones at https://m.vietjetair.com) or at http://www.facebook.com/vietjetthailand (just click the “Booking” tab). Payment can be easily made with debit and credit cards of Visa, MasterCard, JCB, KCP and American Express.

Vietnam’s capital city is the second destination to be connected with Yangon following the launch of Vietjet’s Ho Chi Minh CityYangon service. With similar forwardlooking cultures, Vietnam and Myanmar are both attractive destinations for investment in tourism and economic development, particularly by Thai business stakeholders wishing to expand regionally. The new route is expected to contribute to developing regional integration and trade, thanks to a convenient flight time and amazingly low airfares.
