Former England’s captain David Beckham caused a stir among his fans in Thailand during his current visit at the capital for a commercial production.
He posted an Instargam picture of himself standing on the top of a building in Bangkok on Friday with a caption “So happy to be in Thailand for the next few days and looking forward to chatting with you all on Facebook live.”
Pictures of the former Manchester United star walking in Sampeng, a shopping area of inner Bangkok. have been spread on the social media, which was part of his engagement in the commercial shooting for AIA.
This is not Beckham’s first visit as he was here last year for personal vacation and several years earlier with Real Madrid for a friendly match.
On Saturday evening the 42-year-old Beckham was doing a live interview with the famous TV host Woody on Facebook which received more than two million views.

During the interview Beckham said: “ I’m shooting a commercial for a company that I’m partner with. It’s exciting . They’ve booked me here for shooting in different locations, locations that I’m really pleased about.”
Beckham who retired from football in 2013 also said he wish to learn Thai boxing and denied rumours that he owned a house in Thailand.
Asked about the sport he loves, the former Manchester United player said: “Football is my No 1 love outside my family. I never treated it as a job. It was always a hobby. It was something I always cared about for many years. I was lucky to play for some top clubs and for my country. I’m proud to be known as a professional footballer.”
On Sunday morning, Beckham met AIA families and executive members in Exclusive Welcome Party at AIA Tower in Sathorn.
