Prayuth's name expected to submit for Royal endorsement today : NLA president

National Legislative Assembly (NLA) President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai said Thursday that he expected to submit the name of new prime minister to the Office of HM's Principal Private Secretary today.
The office will examine the qualifications of the new premier before submitting the name for Royal endorsement. He was speaking before the NLA unanimously voted junta chief Gen Prayuth Chanocha as the 29th prime minister of Thailand. A total of 191 NLA members voted for him while the NLA president and two vice presidents abstained.
