Army Commander in Chief Gen Prayuth Chanocha said on Tuesday that the political crisis could be resolved if all the parties involved really wanted to solve it.
It’s not true to say that the crisis cannot be solved as there is always a wayout for every issue,” Prayuth said.
“If we really want to solve the problem, the opinions of all groups and all sides should be considered.
Prayuth said the conflicts should be tackled under the judicial process and no one should use violence as a solution because violence made the problems unsolvable and then the country would have no wayout.
The army chief also urged the media to be careful in their political reports and try to avoid fuelling the political fire.
“The media have to be careful in their reports. The media must maintain neutrality and must find ways to reduce violence instead of using conflicting opinions to escalate conflicts until they cannot be solved. Otherwise all problems will become unsolvable,” Prayuth said.
