Bangkok's Ratchadapisek Criminal Court yesterday issued another arrest warrant for Suthep Thuagsuban, on multiple charges of murder stemming from deaths during the 2010 demonstrations.

The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) asked the court to issue the warrant in order to bring Suthep – who in 2010 was deputy prime minister and director of the Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation – to hear the Attorney General Office’s charges.
Suthep will be fighting the Criminal Court battle along with Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva over allegations of their involvement in the deaths. The attorney general earlier sued Abhisit in this case, and the court is scheduled to examine evidence at 9am on March 24.
