Two seriously injured in grenade attack at Chaeng Wattana rally site

Two M79 grenades were fired at the Chaeng Wattana rally site of the People's Democratic Reform Committee Saturday night, injuring two men.
Sounds of gunfire were heard following the explosions.
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Erawan Emergency Medical Centre reported that the attack happened at 7:50 pm.
The two injured men were rushed to Mongkut Wattana Hospital, the centre reported.
The first man, 42, suffered from wounds on his neck and chest. The second man, 30, was hit by bomb fragments on his shoulder and leg.
The two were being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
The two grenades landed near women’s makeshift shower room behind the stage of the rally site.
