Anti-coup people aren't fans of Thaksin or Yingluck

Last month the execution of a man by lethal injection in Arizona went wrong. The condemned killer was left snorting and gasping -"like a fish on shore gasping for air", said one observer - for one hour and 49 minutes before he died.
Groups opposed to the death penalty went berserk, screaming “cruel and unusual punishment”, which is prohibited by the US constitution. These people were no fans of the killer. They did not sympathise with him nor do they support what he did. But they are against the death penalty, which they think is inhumane.
Same as anti-coup people in Thailand. They are not Thaksin’s and Yingluck’s fans, nor do they support what the two did. But they are against military coups, which they think is against the majority will, criminal law (punishable up to death) and the constitution.
