Expatriates are guests here and shouldn't advocate an overthrow of the govt

I didn't actually say that Seghal should be deported, as two recent letters claim. But we expats are guests in this country. Living here is not a right, it's a privilege.
If expats openly support the attempt to shut down Bangkok and overthrow the government, then the government has every right to revoke that privilege.
I am well aware of Thaksin’s corruption as well as the corruption and abuse of power by the Democrats. But in a democracy you either get rid of the government at the ballot box or through the courts, as may very well happen in the case of Prime Minister Yingluck.
That’s how democracy works. And those who can’t accept that should consider living in a country that is more accommodating to their fascist philosophy.
