Suspected insurgents in custody have reportedly confessed that three more bombs are waiting to be used in future attacks in Pattani's Sai Buri district.
Following the August 14 arrest of alleged bomb maker Afandi Kapa, 28, and his alleged accomplices Asaman Jehba, 33, and Sukri Samae, 28, along with some weapons in Sai Buri’s tambon Tabing, the three men were sent for questioning at Ingkhayuth Camp in Nong Chik district.
During interrogation Afandi and Asaman reportedly confessed to making bomb and claimed that they had just finished making six bombs prior to arrest. They said three of these bombs had already been used in previous attacks in Sai Buri district, while the remaining three were sent to another team of insurgents.
