Some 30 thatched huts were destroyed by a fire on Monday at a Karen refugee camp on the Tak border with Myanmar.
No casualties were reported.
The blaze broke out at the Ban Mae La camp at about 10pm, but fire engines managed to put it out in two hours, Somchai Traitipchartsakul, chief of Tha Song Yang district, said yesterday.
The cause of the conflagration was still under investigation.
Officials delivered relief kits with food, bottled water and daily supplies to the victims, while new huts were being built.
