A recent survey found that Bangkok residents will only give city governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra 5.65 points out of 10 for performance.
The survey, conducted by Bangkok Poll between March 21 and 24, covered 1,188 residents aged 18 and above.
Sukhumbhand will complete a year in his second term as governor on March 29.
The latest performance scores for Sukhumbhand have dropped by 0.18 points when compared to a similar survey conducted six months ago.
In the latest survey, 60.9 per cent of the respondents were aware that the Election Commission (EC) had recommended a new gubernatorial election on grounds that Sukhumbhand might have won last year with the help of a slanderous campaign launched by fellow politicians. The recommendation is being considered in court.
