Police are investigating a grenade attack at a spot close to a checkpoint manned by soldiers and territorial-defence volunteers late on Sunday night.
Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in the blast, which occurred about 250 metres from the Raman Train Station.
Two holes were found on the ground with fragments of M79 grenades scattered nearby. An ongoing investigation suggests the attackers may have some links to Sahudin Tohjehma, a key insurgent wanted on various charges.
