Following the successful launch of the LearnEnglish Kids website last year, British Council has launched another free online classroom aimed especially at Thai teenagers.
The new website, designed for 13 to 17-year-olds, helps improve their fluency through language practice, tips for exams, along with grammar and vocabulary exercises. In addition to this, the website also offers lots of fun activities and games, including a video zone, a magazine and puzzles.
The Skills section offers reading, writing and listening practice with activities and exercises. Students can practise their grammar and vocabulary with bite-size videos and exercises.
In the Exam section, teens can find guides and videos to help them succeed in the different English-language tests they have to cover at school. Also, students can watch videos and learn all about the traditions and latest trends in the United Kingdom.
When students need a break, they can go to the Study Break section to watch fun clips, play games and do some puzzles. They can also stop off at the Magazine section, which is written by young Britons for their peers in Thailand.
LearnEnglish Teens also offers downloadable worksheets, so you can make use of the material offline. Visit www.britishcouncil.org/learnenglishteens.
