Four arrested for allegedly involving in attack at Abhisit's house: Thaworn

Bangna police have apprehended a woman and three men for allegedly involving in the series of attacks in the capital on anti-government rallies including bomb attack at Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva's Sukhumvit residence last night.
Thaworn Senneam, a core leader of the protests, said the suspects who are now detained at Bangna police station were behind supplying and smuggling weapons including bombs for the purpose of creating chaos as the protesters were campaigning for shutting down Bangkok.
Abhisit and his family were not at the residence at the time of the attack which damaged roofs and walls of the house. Police reportedly identified the bomb as big firecrackers.
The attack was the latest on rally leaders including Chuan Leekpai and Jitpas Kridakorn.
Thaworn claimed that the weapons smuggled by the four suspects were also used in the shootings at Hua Chang Bridge around midnight.
The shootings injured a garbage collector of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration who was working behind Siam Discovery Shopping Complex and a woman. They were rushed to a nearby hospital.
