Ahead of the start of the "Bangkok shutdown" on Monday, Chulalongkorn Hospital yesterday urged chronically ill patients who were scheduled to see their doctor or collect their medicine next week to do so this week instead.
Although the hospital will be open for outpatient services as usual next week, it has prepared medical staff and facilities to serve those who come in early. Calls for more information can be made to 02-256-5487/4409.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will suspend classes at 146 schools in 26 districts, Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said. The city will also integrate work at all protest sites, such as traffic and public transport, security cameras, fire extinguishers, medical mobile services and sanitation management, he said.
From January 13 until further notice, Immigration Police will serve the public at satellite centres on the first floor of Major Hollywood Suksawat in Rat Burana district and the fifth floor of Imperial World Lat Phrao from 10.30am-6.30pm on weekdays.
