Travel to Hollywood with GMM Z the go behind the scenes of the popular TV series
GMM Z Pay TV recently joined up with Thai Life Insurance to introduce an activity that will take fans of a popular series showing through satellite station to Hollywood for a tour of Warner Brothers Studio.
Launched in a press conference at Siam Paragon, “Doo Arrow Loon Bin Free Baeb Duo”, as the activity is known, is part of the promotion for "Arrow", a new series that airs on Channel 399 Warner TV every Monday at 8pm. The American action-adventure series is based on the fictional superhero Green Arrow, a costumed crime-fighter who appears in comic books published by DC Comics.
The series follows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), the billionaire playboy of Starling City, who spends five years stranded on an island following a shipwreck that claims the life of everyone else on board, including his father Robert, and Sara Lance, the sister of Oliver's girlfriend Laurel (Katie Cassidy), with whom he was having an affair. Upon his return to Starling City, he is reunited with his ex-girlfriend but Laurel isn't interested, blaming him for the death of her sister, Sara.
During the day, Oliver plays the billionaire playboy who owns and runs a nightclub; at night, he becomes a green-hooded vigilante, following through with his father’s dying wishes to right the wrongs of the Queen family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. But Oliver's vigilante persona becomes the focus of police detective Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), father to Laurel and Sara, who is determined to pt him behind bars.
“It is an once-in-a-lifetime experience to go on a VIP tour of Warner Studio and see behind the scenes of the series as well as movie sets and get up close and personal with some of world's best known stars.
Moreover, fans on the tour will also be able to admire vehicles used in several movies, among them the Jaguar from ‘Austin Power’, The Tumbler in ‘Batman: The Dark Knight’, the Mystery Machine from ‘Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed’ and the Ducati 998 from ‘Matrix Reloaded’,” says actor Nawat “Pong” Kulrattanarak, brand ambassador of Warner Brothers Television Channel.
“The tour ends with the Warner Brother museum. It is a very worthwhile trip,” he adds.
To take part in the activity, answer the question at the end of the series and send your reply by SMS to 4242862. The competition runs until August 12.
