The Real Estate Confidence Index in the first quarter stood at 54.2 points, up from 53.5 points in the final quarter of last year.

This is the first quarter-on-quarter increase since the second quarter of 2016, according to survey findings by the Government Housing Bank’s Real Estate Information Centre.

The research indicates that property developers are confident that demand will continue to expand in the current quarter, following an increase in the period from January to March.
