TRUE BUSINESS this year is investing around Bt600 million and expects to post revenue of Bt15 billion for the full year.

Songtham Phianattanawit, chief corporate solutions and cooperation officer of True Corporation, said some of the investment would support a new Internet data centre at Hemaraj Land and Development. True Business will also set up nine new TrueSphere co-working spaces in department stores to serve as venues for business meetings. It already has six TrueSpheres in shopping centres such as Siam Paragon, Mega Bangna and The Mall Bangkapi.

The company is developing and testing new Internet of Things (IoT) devices, robotics and automation solutions. It also plans to work with business partners to provide products, services and convergence solutions, including special packages for small and medium-sized enterprises.

True Business now has around 4,500 large corporate customers and around 100,000 SME clients. The top three categories for its services are banking, financial and retail.

“This year the telecommunications market … is continuing growth due to the government’s ‘Thailand 4.0’ scheme. We are working with business partners so provide such services as logistics solutions to help corporate customers improve productivity and reduce operating costs,” Songtham said.

“The total telecommunications market was valued at Bt54 billion last year and the market grew by around 4-5 per cent.”

He said True Business last year posted revenue of B13 billion. This year it expects to generate revenue of around Bt15 billion for growth of about 12 per cent.
