Infor, the world's third-largest business software provider with almost US$3 billion (Bt97 billion) in annual revenue, says it has gained a key customer in Patkol, a leading Thai company with more than 49 years in the refrigeration and food-machinery indu
With rising demand across Asia, Patkol has chosen Infor software solutions to manage business growth over other companies and to empower employees across all areas to communicate effectively and collaborate in a centralised location, with real-time updates.
Infor says its business software solutions are now providing Patkol with new social collaboration tools, enhanced mobility, manufacturing industry-specific solutions, and intuitive user interfaces that it claims will accelerate its growth across Asia.
“With multi-entity, multi-site operations becoming more common and essential for businesses such as ours today, centralised management is often a complex, multi-layered, duplicative task,” said Sangchai Chotchuangchutchaval, president of Patkol.
“What we need is a comprehensive ERP [enterprise resource planning] solution that allows us to consolidate and streamline all of our operations in one centralised database that improves enterprise visibility, and lowers IT complexity and costs.
“To build our capabilities in this area, we looked at adopting an ERP solution that is not only intuitive and shows results, but is flexible enough to meet our unique industry needs,” he added.
Patkol recently signed its agreement with Infor to harness the efficiencies and cost-effectiveness of business software solutions such as Infor Ming.le, Infor ION and Infor SyteLine, an ERP solution specifically designed to help manufacturers improve productivity using best practices and highly efficient process flows.
