Aston Martin opens one more 'customer-centric' outlet

Aston Martin Bangkok has expanded its sales network operations with a second outlet.
The 400sqm showroom on Rama III Road is an advanced, fully equipped facility with sales, service and spare-parts operations prepped to house five Aston Martin models at a time, said Aston Martin Bangkok general manager Suttipong Wannawanit.
The move also serves as a testament to growth in the High Luxury Sports (HLS) car segment in 2013 and this year onwards.
Suttipong said the Rama III-based AMB showroom “will feature a customer-centric reception area and a spectacular new car gallery second to none, which exudes all the glory of Aston Martin’s distinctive corporate identity differentiated by AMDS, Aston Martin special equipment and tools, genuine spare parts, and certified technicians and mechanics”.
“Thailand represents excellent potential and an opportunity for the Aston Martin brand as part of this iconic brand’s programme aimed at growing the reach of the global Aston Martin brand dealership network. This expansion [new Rama III showroom], brings our brand to a wider audience in the HLS segment in Thailand,” he said.
Aston Martin Bangkok first started business in the fourth quarter of 2013 with a launch event celebrating the official appointment of the Aston Martin Bangkok dealership in Bangkok late last year.
Heritage Motor Sales & Services (Thailand) set up its first Aston Martin Bangkok showroom at the Siam Paragon luxury department store, and the showroom sports a customer reception area and new car gallery all decked out in distinctive Aston Martin corporate identity, Suttipong said.
Heritage Motor is a subsidiary of Master Group Corporation (Asia).
The Rama III facility features a dedicated service facility, genuine spare parts and certified technicians and mechanics.
Aston Martin Bangkok Rama III incorporates an advanced after-sales service facility, which “is the perfect place to experience Aston Martin Bangkok’s vehicle line-up, one of the world’s most iconic range of hand-crafted high-end luxury sports cars”, Suttipong said.
“The Rama III showroom will be the first showroom of its kind in Thailand that integrates access paths to both the service centre and customer area, with a special see-through glass window,” he added. “Aston Martin customers will be pampered by the showroom lobby, a comfortable and modern coffee bar and, furthermore, enjoy a unique view of their Aston Martin cars being serviced by our certified mechanics. The showroom highlights include a full display set of colour and trim, and an exclusive customer lounge built for the exclusive purpose of car configuration manned by our special sales consultants.”
Adding colour and excitement to the Aston Martin Bangkok showroom launch earlier this week was the presence of a Design Master Class supervised by Aston Martin director of design Marek Reichman.
He is the designer behind the success of Aston Martin designs including the Vanquish, Rapide S, the DBS (which was featured in the 22nd James Bond film “Quantum of Solace”), and the One-77.
