Acxiom, a US-headquartered enterprise data, analytics and software-as-a-service company, has signed a global, multi-year contract with Zurich-based global insurer ACE Group, with initial developments in Thailand and four other countries.
Acxiom will support ACE’s marketing capabilities with a new database marketing solution that it says will provide the flexibility, scale and security needed to address the insurance company’s evolving client needs.
The Acxiom solution selected by ACE enhances data and customer characteristics without having to use or store personally identifiable information (PII) in the process. Acxiom’s “safe haven” capability removes PII and replaces it using anonymised storage of contact history to support expanded analytics in a privacy-compliant way.
“We want ACE to be the proven and trusted partner of choice for our many clients around the world,” said Ed Levin, president of the international accident and health Division, ACE Overseas General. “As such, investing in our marketing and data-sharing capabilities, including best-in-class practices around customer data security and privacy, is central to advancing our business.
Phil Lore, group vice president for financial services at Acxiom, said: “ACE has an amazing track record for developing highly strategic campaigns for [its] clients around the globe.
“We are thrilled ACE has selected Acxiom to help build upon [its] success. I am certain that integrating our world-class data, database management and analytics into ACE’s offerings will further expand [its] value proposition and drive unprecedented results.”
The global agreement between ACE and Acxiom covers several countries, with initial developments planned in Thailand, Brazil, Italy, Mexico and Turkey.
