Police are seeking an arrest warrant for a Bannang Sata native, who was allegedly found to be involved in the car bomb attack in downtown Yala's Betong district, a source in the investigation team said Wednesday.
Faosi Klupae, 33, was reportedly identified by security camera footage as a
person who drove the explosive-loaded pick-up truck to the scene.
The source said police also suspected that Bannang Sata native Lukman
Pulaprapeh, 26, who is wanted for another case in January 2008, was also in
the pick-up truck with Faosi, as per the security camera footage. Police are
gathering evidence in order to seek an arrest warrant for him.
