The impeachment of the former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra and politicians indicted by the National AntiCorruption Commission (NACC) should be able to continue, as the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) is about to be set up to work as the Parliame
Sansern Poljieak, the NACC secretary-general, said although there was no constitutional provision on impeachment in the current charter, the NACC Act is still in effect and the NLA is authorised to work as the House and the Senate. So it should be able to decide on impeachment, which used to a task of the Senate.
