Suthep gets 15 days to file legal defence for PDRC trespass case

The Civil Court Monday allowed Suthep Thaugsuban to submit a defence statement within 15 days in response to a case filed by the Finance Ministry over the People's Democratic Reform Committee trespassing at the Finance Ministry during the anti-government
The ministry has demanded compensation of Bt536,986 for damage caused after thenPDRC chief Suthep – who is currently known as Phra Suthep – led protesters when they entered several of its premises.
It is also seeking Bt500,000 for every month the PDRC protested at the ministry and 7.5 per cent interest on that amount.
