New Indian ambassador pays courtesy call to Prayuth

Harsh Vardhan Shringla, the new Indian ambassador to Thailand, paid a courtesy call to National Council for Peace and Order chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha at the Army headquarters at 10 am Monday.
The two are expected to discuss security, economic and social cooperation between the two countries.
And the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s Division 1 deployed some 160 policemen, a suspect detention truck and a sound truck to be stationed in front of the Army headquarters to prevent anit-coup protesters from demonstrating there.
