The Labour Ministry will hand out leaflets in three languages to calm down fears of migrant workers.
The leaflet will explain the real situation and foreign labour policy of the military junta, which intends to put in order all migrant workers so that they will get benefits and social welfare in accordance with the laws, permanent secretary of Labor Ministry Jirasuk Sugandhajati said Tuesday.
The leaflets, which will be distributed to entrepreneurs for passing on to the workers, will reassure the workers that the ministry was not indiscriminately prosecuting migrant workers.
The leaflets will be written in Myanmar, Lao and Cambodian languages.
