Phra Buddha Isara, the leader of anti-government rally at the Government Complex, Monday urged Suthep Thaugsuban, secretary general of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, to be patient and hang on for the fight.
The monk said Suthep should not rush to try to win the game as he has announced.
Suthep said if he fails to have the caretaker Cabiner resign by May 26, he would surrender to police on May 27.
The monk said Suthep should continue the PDRC-led rally until the people become fed up with the government and the people would come out to demand the government to resign.
The monk said the rally could continue for over a year.
