Taipei - Taiwanese firm Foxconn Technology Group, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, said Friday that its production facility in Vietnam would close for three days to ensure the safety of its employees.
The move came following anti-China protests in Vietnam over the past week.
In a news conference earlier Friday Taiwanese Foreign Minister David Lin said: "We strongly condemn the violence in recent riots damaging facilities owned by Taiwanese."
