Department of Special Investigation chief Tarit Pengdith expressed confidence Thursday that police would be able to arrest leaders of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, who are wanted by arrest warrants, in two days.
On Wednesday, the Criminal Court approved arrest warrants for 30 leaders and key members of PDRC on insurrection charges as requested by the Attorney General.
Tarit said police would focus on arresting those who are not protected by guards and police are monitoring them to make arrests.
“They are still elusive because they have not returned home or returned to stay where they used to stay. We are tracing them and we expect that we will capture them in one or two days,” Tarit said.
