Reform and election are key component for resolution to end on-going political stalemate, opposition leader Abhisit Vejjajiva said Friday saying it is not important whether reform before election or election before reform.
Abhisit kicked off his campaign to try to find exit for the political crisis Friday with a meeting with Justice Ministry’s Permanent Sectary Kittipong Kittayarak who also a member of Reform Now Network.
The two reached three common grounds, according to Abhisit. Reform is a key element for the resolution; election is a requirement no matter when it happens; the election is a crucial part of reform, he said.
“We have to start with commonality and expand the common features steering away from difference,” he told reporters.
