Pheu Thai Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit Tuesday filed a complaint with Department of Special Investigation, alleging protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban with having committed sedition.
Prompong alleged that Suthep and other PDRC leaders had violated Article 113 of the Criminal Code by declaring that they would seize the ruling power.
The Pheu Thai spokesman said Suthep had declared that he would seize the ruling mandate if the prime minister is ousted by a ruling of the Constitutional Court and he would nominate and countersign the appointment of the next prime minister.
He said Suthep’s statement constituted an act of sedition.
