Caretaker Labour Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung Monday told permanent secretaries of ministries, which used to be besieged by protesters, to take legal action against protest leaders.
Chalerm held a meeting with the permanent secretaries and gave the order in his capacity as the director of the Centre for Administration of Peace and Order, Tarit Pengdith, director general of the Department of Special Investigation, said.
He said Chalerm wanted the permanent secretaries to file complaints with police against leaders for the People’s Democratic Reform Committee for intrusions and causing damages to government offices and for intimidating government officials.
