BBC has implied that both passengers of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370 who used stolen passports were Iranians.
BBC quoted a young Iranian in Kuala Lumpur as saying he was a school friend of one of the men. He said the friend and another Iranian stayed with him before taking the flight and that they had hoped to settle in Europe. The London-based news agency said it has not been possible yet to verify his story.
On Tuesday, Malaysian authorities identified one of them as Pouria Nour Mohammad Mehrdad, 19, was travelling on an Austrian passport earlier declared stolen in Thailand.
He planned to go to Germany to stay with his mother.
