After a four-hour meeting at the Education Ministry on Tuesday, caretaker Minister Chaturon Chaisang said an eight-member OEC panel voted to terminate Sasithara’s employment. Six cast a “yes” vote, while two others abstained at the recommendation of a ministry disciplinary investigation panel.
The panel has 12 members but only eight were present at the meeting on Tuesday.
