The Criminal Court Wednesday approved arrest warrants against Buddhipongse Punnakanta and four other leaders of the People's Democratic Reform Committee for blocking the advance voting on January 26.
The four other PDRC leaders, who face the arrest warrants, are Thinnakorn Plodpai, Sombat Thapprayoon, Samran Rodphet and a man, identified only as Teacher Kob.
The court reasoned that there were witnesses who testified to the court that they saw the four leading protesters to block the advance voting, which was an alleged crime punishable with more than three years of imprisonment.
