The Spaniard holds an advantage of 3,750 points over second-placed Novak Djokovic of Serbia. Australian Open winner Stanislas Wawrinkais third.
Nadal will sit out of the ATP events this week due to a stomach virus but many top players are in action at the Rotterdam Open including Juan Martin del Potro, Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych, Richard Gasquet and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga from the world top 10.
The biggest mover in the top 30 of the ATP rankings this week was Frenchman Gael Monfils who climbed seven spots to 23rd.ATP top 10 as of February 10:
