Rally leaders of all sites will not hold negotiation talk with the government's peacekeeping center, said Suthep Thaugsuban, secretary general of People's Democratic Reform Committee said Monday. The Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) should not waste their time trying to seek talks with leaders of the seven rally sites, he said. He was speaking after chairing a meeting with the core leaders of the protests. The announcement was aired in Democrat-affiliated BlueSky Channel. The meeting was held after CMPO's chief Chalerm Yoobamrung said he would have the rally sites reclaimed from the protesters within 72 hours.
If CMPO tries to disperse and reclaim a rally site, protesters from other sites will be mobilised to help them, he said. Calling for people to join the protest, he insisted they have to come without weapons. "If any of you could not do that, please stay home," he said.
