Election commissioner Somchai Srisuthiyakorn said on Saturday that he will propose the Election Commission (EC) to postpone advance voting from tomorrow to next Friday.
The EC will meet today at 2pm after the Constitutional Court Friday ruled that the polls set on February 2 can be rescheduled.
While waiting for the caretaker government’s stance whether to agree with the postponement of the election date or not Somchai said if the EC agreed with his proposal to delay the advance voting day it will help saving the Bt100 million budget spending for the advance voting.
