Political violence has caused four deaths and injured 267 victims in less than one month with risks of political-related bloody incidents now getting even higher, according to the Public Health Ministry.
“Attacks by unidentified groups used to erupt at around 3am but not anymore. This suggests that such attacks may happen anytime, anywhere in protest zones,” Dr Narong Apikulvanich said Monday in his capacity as the head of the ministry’s medical centre for cases related to political rallies.
He was speaking about politically-related violent incidents between December 26 last year and January 19 this year.
