National Police Commissioner Adul Saengsingkaew has set up a committee especially to look into crimes committed by a confessed rapist and killer.
The committee, overseen by top police officers, was established in the wake of chilling revelations that the man, identified only as Nui, sexually abused many children after he was released from jail last year, and allegedly killed some of them.
“Nui has allegedly committed crimes in many areas. There is a high possibility that the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) will take over Nui’s case and investigate his crimes,” Metropolitan Police Commissioner Camronwit Toopgrajank said Thursday.
