Yingluck flies to Yala to visit injured driver of slain deputy governor

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra flew from the Wing 6 Air Force Base to visit an injured driver of slain deputy Yala governor Isara Thongthawat Sunday morning.
Yingluck and her entourage left on an Air Force plane at 8:10 am. Her entourage included PM’s Secretary-General Suranan Vejjajiva, Interior Minister Jarupong Ruangsuwan, Deput Interior Minister Chat Kuldilok and National Security Council Secretary-General Paradorn Pattanathabutr.
They visited Satopa Jehloh at the Yala Provincial Hospital. The driver was injured when Iara’s car was ambushed with a bomb Friday.
Yingluck will fly to Nakhon Si Thammarat to attend Isara’s funeral service in the evening. She will return to Bangkok at night.
